Message	I have a similar problem, with the battery draining. I figured it was a diode in the alternator from what I had read in "search". Maybe if we catalogue the amperage drains from various sources known we could do better at pinpointing the issues. I doubt the security light has enough drain to cause this, or else everyone's car would have done this since new in stock form.
